As Strobe's Communications Manager, Janet is our resident social media expert. She provides social media consulting and implementation services for Strobe, as well as our array of clients in the retail, e-commerce, financial and entertainment industries.
Her main focus today is on the two big social media networks, Facebook and Twitter, but she also utilizes other new media platforms, including blogs, Flickr, YouTube and LinkedIn. She manages social marketing campaigns, giving the brand a voice and interacting with consumers to heighten awareness and participation in social media-related marketing programs.
Janet began her career in a public relations firm in Washington, DC, while attending George Washington University. There, she learned the basics of project and client management and got a taste for working at a full-service agency. She later received a BFA in Public Relations from Long Island University's CW Post campus. Upon joining Strobe in 2006, she moved into a marketing role. In July 2009, she completed an Inbound Marketing Certification course, further developing her expertise in blogging, social media, SEO/SEM and campaign analysis.
